I ve been a season pass holder for 2 years now and six flags is usually a great destination for a fun day out. However, unless you re buying a season pass I wouldn t recommend going for only one day since the prices really rack up and if it s a busy day you might only be able to ride 3-5 rides at best.

The lines get pretty long during holidays and in summer but otherwise it s not too bad. I usually wait anywhere from 5-15 minutes on a day that s not busy and 20-60 minutes on a busy day.

Food here is pretty expensive so if you get hungry I would recommend eating someplace else. The only thing I would really recommend you try is their funnel cake which you can get for $6 before 4pm so it s not a bad deal.

Overall it s a great destination for a fun family day out. There are a lot of kid friendly rides and also lots of thrilling rides for teens and adults. If you want thrills go for the Titan or Texas giant. If you re like me and need something just a bit more tame then check out The Riddler or Catwoman. The Spain section has a lot of the more kid friendly rides so definitely check those out if that s what you want (the teacups are my personal favorite there).
