The room was very comfortable and decorated very tastefully - shower and bathroom were excellent and the breakfast was perfectly fine for what you pay for. The staff really make this place and they couldn't do enough for you. A couple of downsides: the air con in our room wasn't working and it was very warm out, we were told at reception that they have maintenance staff on site so it could have been looked at to be fair but it was very late at night when we got in and realised. The second and a bit bigger gripe was that the staff in the kitchen didnt know that their sausages were not gluten free, and as a coeliac that could have resulted in my being very ill. The chef even told me it was gluten free but thankfully a member of the waiting staff interjected before I ate any of it.
