LoL Fayette County Day Care, FCDC. I'd say about 5 of the officers here (or more) need counseling more than the inmates. Antagonistic and on an unnecessary power trip, spewing off lists off numbered rules ( They forget the number of the rules too, mix them up. Only the short bus guards act like that, most of them just don't want any bullcrap or signal 7 incidents and it's ok, suffer in peace. ) as well as other general non custody related power assertions in a manner probably not sanctioned by the jailer in attempts to either antagonize people or help their miserable selves sleep at night (known in unit HH as being "PETTY"). I got love for the REAL CO's in there to do their job, control custody and safety, and not act insane and get people killed. I know a guy that died there from off Halls Lane. I seen a CO get attacked and almost thrown off the top tier for putting hands on a guy when his visit had just ended and he was saying his goodbyes but was taking too long I suppose. Two wrongs don't make a right but it was dangerous and probably unnecessary considering it was just visitation, not like we were in a state prison with real killers on the loose. Usually that CO was cool though, same for the inmate, must have been a bad day for both. The review says one star but actually this jail is 5 star as far as county jails go, no jail is GREAT but they got ESPN for Christ's sake and most of the officers are good men and women. Taco Tuesday!
