By far for me the most magical place in the world.

All the rest camps are amazing but some can be a bit crowded during peak periods.

The north of the park does not have so many big five sightings but the peace and quiet is divine.

Would recommend that visitors sometimes take it easy. Driving 12 hours a day can be exhausting.

Sit under a tree ,take a nap and find some appropriate reading such as Jock in the Bushveld.

Nothing more magical than standing next to a fire with meat sizzling and a cold beer in hand listening to the night sounds in the bush.

Also worth reading up on the at times dark history of the park in the early days.

The animals and bush are amazing but the cultural and historic dimensions of the park are equally fascinating.

Highly recommend it.
