Without a doubt the cheapest and do-it-yourself way to see the big five. Admission is approximately R350 for entry with your own car, if you have the chance take a nearby accommodation for a few nights and go for at least 3 full days. Drive around with your car or take the organized tours (the tours can be inside at wider times). You will have the chance to see many species of animals of all kinds.
