Personally for me it is a pride as a Spaniard that the collection is in Spain. It has very important works of painting from the medieval Flemish painters to practically today.
The visit is very bearable since it is not a very large museum. I encourage everyone who visits Madrid to visit it.
The temporary exhibitions are very well cared for and are usually very interesting
