Our experience with Richter Studios was unforgettable. First, the studio is easy to find and had great parking nearby. The moment we entered the building for the first casting we were greeted warmly as if they were waiting just for us! We were offered something to eat or drink and the waiting room was comfortable and clean. We immediately felt welcomed in the studio. The building itself has a great layout and made it easy to want to stay a while. There is a pool table, snack bar with drinks, a kitchen, full dining area and large, clean bathrooms (plural!) with separate areas for hand-washing or changing. This is so rare to find in Chicago studios but is so appreciated when coming in from out of state after driving for hours for a casting! Aside from the wonderful physicality of the building, the people at Richter are truly what made the studio amazing. The midwest friendliness and ability to put you at ease are what we value most and will always remember. We were given video examples of what to do on set as well as a detailed handout and verbal explanations. We were thrilled to be called back! By the third visit for the fitting we felt completely at home with Richter. The day of the commercial shoot was absolute magic; the team was a well oiled machine. They were so organized they had details written to the minute yet seemed completely at ease with the execution. The professionalism was evident and they were also having fun and made the day so enjoyable. The owner of Richter Studios even took time to talk to me as a set mom (even though the set had around 50 people). He gave us T-shirts and hats to remember the day! I could only give 5 stars but they deserve more. In short: Richter Studios is the absolute best in the midwest; we truly hope to work with them again!
