Big expectations but disappointing unfortunately especially since it was our first time at the venue. Maybe we just experienced a bad night. The night seemed to be more about Jon Faddis comedy and talking rather than the music. When they did play is was fantastic, but there were far too many long breaks in between the tracks. Great view of course over Central Park, however next time we will be going to a smaller Jazz club that's cheaper and is more about the music.

Bar staff were fantastic, food and drink were great although a bit pricey. The sound system wasn't too bad but it could certainly do with some improvements or upgrades to create a fuller sound. After experiencing superb Jazz clubs in Australia we really expected more from Dizzys. As I said, maybe we had a bad night but we left early along some significant others.
