My daughter is writing a review of Hoyts, which she loves, but just thought I'd add a few words for an independent cinema which is far and away superior in both atmosphere and price. I can take two kids to a movie there and walk away with change from $40, when I often seem to be paying more than $60 at Hoyts. The cafe is actually reasonable in both quality and price too, so I don't mind buying the kids some popcorn. Gorgeous old fashioned theatre atmosphere as well.
