This was the most unaccommodating hotel I have ever stayed at in hundreds of other hotel visits. The price would indicate that their main focus is on service and quality but that was far from the truth. I gave the staff several opportunities to change my mind but at every reasonable request we were turned down. I even told one manager this Hyatt was making me only choose Marriott from now on and he didn't seem to care he just said he was sorry but their policies were inflexible. Mine was not an isolated incident several others who were attending the convention meeting with me had similar experiences with simple requests. One of my associates asked for a cookie while we were standing in the lobby and the desk clerk said those were only offered at check-in as a one time offer. Couldn't believe the attitudes. I assure you Marriott is not stingy with their cookies and try hard to accommodate their guests. Next time I have a convention at a Hyatt I will stay at the nearest Marriott instead. I will also try and influence our association to not use Hyatt anymore for our meetings. I can not understand as a business owner myself why a company would try and save a few dollars at the potential cost of thousands of dollars. Not a smart move. This kind of attitude and outlook only works when there is no competition. See ya Hyatt!
