Lackluster servers, GREAT food, slow service and FREE insults.
We had lunch at this restaurant today. Waited 40 minutes for a salad. After watching people who arrived after us being served, I asked our server if our salad would be served soon and she explained that the other people were getting desserts which was partially true. She also mentioned that the kitchen was slammed. After making a small fuss I asked our dour faced server to please check with the kitchen. She returned and told us that the chef was making the salad at that moment. Shortly after the chef/owner delivered the salad and said here is your salad; it is not the end of the world! So now I feel like the ugly American but truly, I was just really hungry. I recommend this restaurant but know that if you are getting anything other than pastries, you might have to wait quite a while.
