My first visit back to Penang after almost 20yrs.

Available to check-in only at around 4:30pm - enough said. Had an apartment unit with wife and 2 kids, good space but imagine the challenge of sharing a single bathroom. The biggest complaint I hope for improvement is the extremely poor ventilation within the toilet. Visited the executive lounge, seriously not impressed with limited table. Breakfast at Jen Cafe, good spread but can be better. Hotel location is good with close proximity to many place of interest. Working staff generally great but the Check-in incident just left me a bad taste, especially I was kept in the dark initially for the long wait till I have to show my displeasure.

I hope this review result in some improvement actions by the management. I do not consider myself a frequent traveler for work but at least stayed in an hotel for more than 15 times over the last 12 months. Had experienced sufficiently on hospitality services to know what I am talking about in this review.

Hopefully the next time if even I challenge myself to revisit this hotel again, I hope to find a better experience.
