I'm sure "grand" frills don't guarantee a hotel to be special. But Grand Mercure Kemayoran is an exception. This hotel is truly special.

From the outside, it looks unremarkable, just like other high-rise buildings in Jakarta. Entering the hotel area, the charm starts to differ. Green gardens are neatly arranged and stretches wide. Large enough to provide freshness visually to break down the air pollution around it.

The interior of the hotel lobby feels luxurious. Dark floors combined with golden lighting radiating from the ceiling and walls. The side of the wall is given a touch of lighting like a tree. Artistic. Rows of sofas with colorful cushions complete this luxurious feel.

The lift is cool and spacious. Decorated with mirrors and wooden ornaments. Like not in the elevator.

Look at the size of the room, I had a dream, if the furniture is taken out, it will fit playing full team futsal. I swear the room is as big as a futsal field. Modern minimalist room interior. The facilities are super complete. There is a safe deposit box and mini bar. Dragon fruit and grapes are provided on a table near the sofa. Not bad for starving hunger.

Get a single bed. But a relief for both. Even the three of them, as long as they are thin. The bed and pillows are soft. Only there is no bolster.

Now this is crucial, the bathroom. Clean? Certainly. The door design is unique. Had thought the wardrobe door. The interior is elegant with transparent glass dividers. There are fried rice, liwet rice, warm, various porridge, various street snacks, various chili sauce, herbs, various juices, curries, European, Indian and American breads, whatever their name is, mayo & cheese sauce, sausage, baby & grilled potatoes, vegetable salad, yogurt, fresh fruits, dim sum, lamien, buns, sushi, miso, tamago, etc. I'm confused about what breakfast.

Have not had the chance to try other hotel facilities such as pool, spa, fitness and bar. Maybe another time. Anyway, GMK Hospitality is special and classy. Two thumbs up for staff service performance. Not in restaurants, lounges, rooms, receptionists, even security. Salute.
