We visited the Dixon to see the special Paxton exhibit. However, while traveling with a toddler our time (at least my time as the mom) was very limited. One of the security guards suggested we (my 20 month son and I) check out the new children's interactive area that had just opened about two weeks ago. My son loved coloring and playing with the little toys in the children's room. We had the opportunity to speak with one of the art teachers (believe his name was JT) and he was so kind, friendly and informative. If we lived in Memphis we would certainly plan to take advantage of all the art classes for kids! I loved hearing the history and vision of the children's room and hope the children around Memphis enjoy it for years to come!
