Took my 2016 Yukon XL in with just a few thousand miles on it because the camera was malfunctioning that controls the lane control system. After an entire day and me leaving several messages for the gal at the service desk they finally call me back and say they have to order a new camera. Two weeks later the camera came in, they install it all seems OK for a few days then the system stops working again and then starts working again a few days later. works and then does not work for the next month or so, so we finally take it in for its first oil change and they take a look at it. they tell me warranty does not cover it because a new windshield was put in the vehicle and that is why it is not working, so they charge me $110 and say to bad for you. Problem I have here is the system worked with the new windshield just like it did with the old windshield, guess I will have to take it to a real GMC dealer that is not just after a quick buck and full of excuses rather than just fixing the system right the first time. And good luck getting anything done in a timely manner with these guys 4 full days my car sat with them and nothing to show for it but a bill for something that should be covered under warranty.
Update: Smith Chevrolet ordered a new camera under warranty and the problem is now fixed even with the new windshield, Still waiting to hear from Manager at Wackerli about a refund on the unsubstantiated bill they charged out of warranty.
