I called for Medicare Supplement prices, since that information is buried so far in the website that it is difficult to find. First, I gave my information to someone with such a heavy accent that I had to keep asking her to repeat herself so I could understand her questions. Then she transferred me to the insurance person so I could ask questions about Medicare supplements. That person then asked me all of the same exact questions I just answered. So now, almost 20 minutes have gone by. The insurance person was trying to talk me through the website so I could find information on Medicare supplement prices. I was writing the steps down as we went because it was so convoluted and I wanted to ensure that I could get back to the info if needed. I was on step 8 when she said Oh, I know a better way, go back. So, I started all over. Now we re at about 40 minutes into the phone call. I finally got to the page I needed, and asked if I could look it over for a minute so I d know what questions I had. She rudely responded that she was in a call center and couldn t wait. Really? You waste so much of my time and then you can t wait one or two minutes while I look something over? I asked if she could e-mail me the information, which she said she would. (What I got in the e-mail ended up to NOT be the information I asked for it still would have had me jumping through hoops to arrive at the needed info). By this time, I was so aggravated that I couldn t even remember the rest of my questions. I was still asking questions when she disconnected me. A horrible customer service experience.
