A very nice, no frills campground. Good sized, level, grassy sites, lovely retiree-aged hosts, extremely clean restrooms, sensible layout but few pull throughs (though the host helps you back in!)
Extra-nice features:
- You're presented with a full recycling "kit" on check in, with different colored bags one dumpsters for each of there types of trash.
- Well tended asphalt pathway runs past the front of the campground...great for runners!
TIPS:
-Reserve in advance, especially in late August due to State Fair.
-No pool, game room, or playground. If those are important to you, go elsewhere.
