We went in last night for some "quick" shots before a concert at Pier 6. The bartender took our order (two lemon drops and two Jager) and came back a few minutes later and said "we don't have Jager." Ok, we ordered Soco instead. Five minutes passed and he mixed drinks, took orders from the waitstaff, etc. We asked if there was a problem with getting our drinks to which he replied, "yes there are quite a few problems. We are very busy." They were not busy in the least bit for a Baltimore restaurant at 6:00. He then hands us two mixed drinks that had been sitting on the counter for five minutes and says, "here. he made lemon drop mixed drinks you can have these, he messed them up." We didn't order that and were still missing all four of our shots. He hands us four shot glasses and a drink strainer! Never got our shots, and then had the audacity to CHARGE US for the two drinks! When we told him we wanted to see a manager he literally said, "I'm not leaving the floor to go get a manager for you. It's not worth my time. You can come over the bar and hit me?!?!?!" Who says that!???! Needless to say the manager came out after this poor excuse for a bartender was shouted at and a scene was caused over this. We didn't have to pay for the awful sour mix he served us and the manager agreed that his actions were ridiculous. He stood there and tried to argue that we hadn't waited 20 minutes for drinks only to never get them, when he did this the manager told him to get out of the bar.
One more thing, he poured a glass of wine and proceeded to LICK EACH OF HIS FINGERS after putting the bottle away! That is disgusting...
Maybe their food is good, but when there is a 5'4" male bartender with a Napoleon complex who is slow, inaccurate, and downright terrible, it definitely is not a good first impression.
Won't be back, if I'm at the harbor and hungry or thirsty again, Ruth's Chris is right around the corner.
