When my dog was yelping for a full day and went to...

When my dog was yelping for a full day and went to the far back corner of our yard as if she was ready to just give up, we took her to Metro because Gaslight Vet recommended them and would not see her. The doctor examined her and called me saying she did not see anything wrong except maybe her neck. She told me she cowered down when she touched her neck and told me she could have psychological problems very soon. In short, the vet scared me and I realized that my dog was just scared since I could not go in due to COVID. I realized when we got home that it was actually her back left leg that was causing her so much pain. How the doctor confused her neck with her back leg with a medical degree is beyond me. I vowed to never take my dog there again. A year later my dog split her ear down the middle where she bled everywhere. Nobody else was open so I was forced to go back. Due to how busy they were, I had to leave her at 9pm and they said she would be seen at 2am. I called them at 5am and they said they still had not gotten to her but it would be soon. They called back and told me the clipped and cleaned her ear. I wasn t sure what this meant but found out when I picked her up that they reopened her entire wound that had started to heal to clean it out. She was brought to my car with a cone and her ear still split one inch at the bottom and bleeding everywhere. I was charged the $150 for them to do absolutely nothing. I called and asked twice if this was ok. The first doctor told me if she didn t stop bleeding that I may have to bring her back for surgery. When I called a day later since it was clear her ear was not going back together, they told me she was fine and that in the future I could get plastic surgery done for her but that she was fine with the split in her ear. It is two weeks later and her ear is healed with the 1 inch slit. My dog walks with her head tilted 1/2 the time now and does not play with my other two dogs like she use to. You can tell her whole balance is off and she is miserable. I tell every dog owner I know to avoid this place at all costs. I gave them two chances and will drive two hours in the future if I have to, just to avoid this place. Do not get me wrong, every person I ever talked to was as nice and friendly as ever, which I do appreciate but I think maybe they are too busy to give my dog the care she truly deserves. I advise you if you care about your animal, to stay as far away as possible from this place.
