Truly wish insurance companies wouldn't jerk you around when trying to get a prescription covered. Took a month for them to decide they were going to deny me a migraine mediation my doctor wanted to put me on. They wanted prior authorization and then more information after the first round was sent in. Once they denied me I was told there are 2 other medications you have to try first. Guess what????? My doctor prescribed one of the others I have to try and my pharmacy came back with the same message as before. Prescription is delayed due to insurance issue. Gee am I going to have to wait another month to see if they deny me!!!! WTH is wrong with insurance companies. You tell someone they have to try a medication and then still don't want to cover it. Wake up and stop screwing people around!!!!!!!
