The customer service here is really awful. These people... order online a $1000 worth of stuff told the order is ready for pickup at 830am arrive and nobody can find it.

I ask to speak to the manager, she seemed unimpressed with the situation and didn t seem to want to be bothered. I asked her to please get the order ready ASAP as the job is on a timeline and we had employees waiting on the job site doing nothing, needing the materials. She assured me the order would be ready in 30 minutes and she would call me.

Two hours later after not hearing from them I went back up there as the job we were doing wasn t moving forward without the materials (pallets of retaining wall blocks requiring a forklift to move the stuff around). I talked to the manager and she informed me that she had 3-4 guys on it and certainly it was all ready to be loaded. I go back to lawn and garden and there is one guy standing around on his cell phone with nothing pulled.

I went back to customer service and informed the manager the job was on the line and no progress had been made on this. I showed her the picture of the guy standing around and she seemed unbothered.

The order was finally loaded by 3pm. It should ve been on the job by 930-10.

After all this the client cancelled the job. I really should ve passed on the job when the customer wanted to use Home Depot materials as I ve had bad experiences in the past. Next time a client wants Home Depot only materials I will pass on the job! Lesson learned.
