Bigiron is a absolute joke. Bought a soybean planter to discover the back axle had been welded on and there wasn t one picture of that. It gets better, went to pick it up (150 mile drive with a semi) the tire was slashed and the planter was up on blocks. I called the Bigiron rep and the first thing he said, the owner isn t happy with what it brought . Bigiron said they would make the seller fix the tire on it. I turn around and go home because it was Saturday afternoon and no tire shops were open. They say the tire will be fixed the next time I come up. I drive another 150 miles the next week to get it, still not fixed, and they hadn t even tried. By this time, I have the expense of a empty truck running up to get it, twice, and permits since it was 16 wide. I send a bill to Bigiron for the empty trip of trucking, and they suspend my account. That tells me they know they are at fault and their way of dealing with it=delete his account. I ve bought and sold equipment with them, and one thing I ve learned, it s never their fault . Between buyers not paying for equipment I ve sold, their reps misrepresenting equipment, and bigirons way of dealing with things , they are not worth it. One thing I can say with Bigiron, if you are able to physically view the equipment, use that option. If you can t and you are trusting their pictures , just plan on getting burnt, because it will happen.
