If you are used to American quality of service and responsibility, ING is not your bank. When I lived in Europe I have been a customer with them for over 5 years (out of necessity). ING is a Dutch bank and unfortunately the way they have setup their customer service is horrendous. As an example: they are extremely hard to reach if they pick up at all. If you are lucky to get a customer service representative on the phone they will pretend to solve your questions or concerns but they will not log anything in the system. So the next time you call them and are lucky enough that someone actually picks up they won't even know that you already spoke to them numerous times and you have to start all over again. Their internal departments do not communicate with each other, this results in receiving different instructions depending on who you talk with. The extreme entitlement that they have when dealing with their customers is probably the most frustrating thing; they seem to derive satisfaction from your frustration. I have many more examples that I can back up with hard proof but I think you get the point. I would advice you to go with literally any other bank. This bank (the ING) will not care about you. I hope I can at least save one person from the frustrations of dealing with this company. Stay safe and don't trust them with your money.
