I was referred to the Tortoise & Hare Sports by my foot doctor. She referred me there because I needed to get well fitting shoes to correct several issues I had with my feet. I was amazed by the service that I received. To say that customer service was excellent is a vast understatement. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by a sales representative who spent almost an hour with me analyzing my stride, walking style, etc. At the conclusion, I left with a great pair of shoes a size larger than I have been wearing. It was amazing to finally get well-fitted shoes. After spending 40+ years of my adult life, I learned that I have been wearing shoes between 1 and 1 1/2 sizes too small.
I highly recommend the Tortoise & Hare Sports - a bit out of the way but well worth the extra effort.
