My diesel XF was serviced yesterday.
I received 100% professional care and service:
The collection driver pre-phoned and arrived on time.
Dennis, the Service Adviser, phoned me when my car arrived on site.
A second phone call was received in the afternoon, Dennis then gave me the final price - which, was less than I was expecting - and they'd taken the initiative to replace a blown bulb without unnecessarily bothering me (and the price of the bulb was less than Halfords charge!).
A second driver delivered the car back to my home. He was friendly and informative and talked me through the invoice and printed "vehicle health check" form, explaining what had been done before taking payment on a card machine.
Delighted later in the afternoon when my wife and I went out to the car and saw how well it had been cleaned - both inside and out. It is gleaming and, despite over 100,000 miles on the clock, the alloys are sparkling like a new car!
Service book (I'd forgotten to leave out on the seat) had been found and was duly stamped.

This is my first Jaguar, bought from Spires - now Beadles when 6 months old, with 3,200 miles on the clock. I've run it daily since and it now has nearly 103,000 showing and today it literally looks like a new car.

Despite being a three litre V6, it is certainly cheaper to maintain than previous Mercedes, BMWs and Audis I have owned. It has matured into a fine comfortable quiet long-distance cruiser and is so trouble-free that I have kept it much longer than any previous car - there really is no reason to change it!
