The car salesman actually came through on his part with the agreements that were made.
The experience we had with the finance department was absolutely awful. Tiffany was very deceptive in her practices. First off she presented a warranty option and we declined, but then she went on to tell us the story about the consumer that declined the warranty and called the dealership shortly after purchase and they couldn t help him with his repairs, because he declined the warranty( which I later read doesn t work for 30 days or 1000 miles). I asked Tiffany if this warranty could be canceled and refunded if we changed our mind, once I had more time to consider . She said Yes . Tiffany then said she needed to go to see which financial institution was going to handle our loan. She came back and started giving my husband each page he needed to sign and I m trying to read over some of the details and noticed a ridiculous percentage rate. My husband stopped with the paperwork and said no thanks our bank will do much better than that based on the credit score. She asked us to hold on for one moment and came back with some lie saying they were going to pay the bank for us to have a lower interest(it was about half of what was originally presented). We should have walked out then, but we had already been there for hours. When my husband returned to the dealership to complete the form to cancel the warranty, to our surprise there were two warranties. One could be canceled, but the other one could not. When asked when was it mentioned that it was more than one warranty, we were told that they do that to help the client, because the bank will not finance if charge is listed separately. We asked why wouldn t they disclose that information and let the consumer decide. Remember, it was asked in the beginning if the warranty could be canceled and refunded. She never mentioned that one could, but the other was non refundable. Please take your time, don t sign anything before reading it yourself(do not let her sum up what each page means), because as the finance manager told me we are in business for profit . So, with that being said, they re looking out for themselves and that profit. Be careful or shop elsewhere based on a good referral.
