My wife and I began shopping for our first home recently. We were reluctant to get involved with an real estate agents because it is hard to tell where their loyalties reside. Having already met with a couple of realtors in a stuffy office, we were put off by the indifferent attitudes.

We called Chartwell Realty as they were showing a home we were interested in. My wife and I met with Tami Lewis, a realtor at Chartwell Realty. She was not pushy at all and always answered my calls/emails. Tami showed us homes without fail on our tight schedule. She was extremely professional, yet a blast to work with. She worked very hard to find us a home that met our needs as we have a large family. Tami kept looking for other homes and sent us many that fit our needs, and she would drop everything just to show us another house.

Tami met with my wife at the last minute to show her a house in Blue Springs while I was at work. As we lived in Shawnee, it wasn't easy for us to drive out to Blue Springs or Grain Valley without some planning. Tami dropped everything to be there, and that was the house we bought. I am extremely grateful to Tami Lewis and to Chartwell Realty. I would not have fared well without her.
