My review only pertains to the experience I had with the sales team, and so I can't speak to any other process. I asked Genz-Ryan to give me an estimate on a mini-split system, and was given a window of 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. They didn't arrive until 3 p.m., by which time I had an estimator from a different company at the home who was measuring the main floor. When I showed the team upstairs, they remarked that, "If all you're looking for is the lowest price, then I can tell you right now we won't beat it and you're wasting our time. We're more interested in building long-term relationships with clients." I invited them to stay and justify their pricing/service, and they seemed like they were going to stay. But a few minutes later, they left without saying a word and drove away. It seems as if they were upset by the fact that I was getting multiple estimates. This raises huge red flags. I called the office and talked to a customer service rep, who was very polite and apologetic, and handled my call very well (and why I'm still giving them two stars). Based on my conversation with her, I don't believe this is the normal level of service. However, my experience with this particular sales team was so concerning that I believe it was worth noting here.
