One of his sentences were: "I don't want people to use "my" showroom to just try the mattresses" and "I have a dentist client that spent a fortune on his mattress and most people do" - First, almost $5k is a load of money for me. An investment you want to make carefully. Second, I want MY purchasing experience to be the one that makes ME feel comfortable. Third, I came looking for another salesman who I had met to a few days ago that did not PRESSURE me into making a buying decision right there and then. Pushy salesmen belong in the past. I get to choose if I want o make an online purchase or a retail one. Whatever issues you have with the products you offer and their manufacturers are your issues, not mine. And not letting me have my own process not just for an expensive item but one I will have to live with for 10 to 15 years is abrasive conduct towards a customer.
