I recently attended an event at Amalie arena and interacted with a handful of TPD officers, some on the property and some nearby. I had 100% positive interactions with each of them, and I was really impressed. Specifically, they listened attentively and guided me concerning where to go. I believe Sgt. Harmison (It was this employee, just not sure of her rank) was effectively and clearly communicated with me how to get back to my vehicle and then walked me out of the building and pointed me in the exact right direction. Throughout my life, I have interacted with many LEO's personally and at a former job and I have had many negative experiences. I have always supported law enforcement, despite this. It was a breath of fresh air to experience so many genuinely helpful individuals in law enforcement TPD is doing something very right!
