The hotel is quite big and has 13 floors. The front of the hotel is on Canal Street and the back of it overlooks the French quarter and Bourbon street. If you're staying in one of the rooms on the back side, you do get a great view, but you also get all the sounds and music from Bourbon street. The hotel provides you with ear plugs so that one can sleep comfortably. The hotel has a very nice and somewhat upscale restaurant. There's a pool also, which is on a higher floor (around the 5-6 floor). The rooms are of normal size. Our room was pretty clean. There are very thick curtains for a dark environment. The beds are quite comfortable as well as the bedding. There's a coffee machine with the capsules and the coffee was Lavazza, which I thought was pretty nice. There's no fridge or microwave. There were 2 safety boxes. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. There was no parking attached to the hotel building, but there are several parking lots/garages nearby the hotel. There's a vallet option for $47 overnight. This hotel is very close to everything- Starbucks right in front of it and Bourbon street right behind it. Walgreens and CVS very nearby, a wine and liquor store right next to the entrance of it.
