If you know quality, then you will give this place a 3 star (and I'm being nice about it). The food tastes like cruise ship food and the staff lacks customer service training. I went there for a wedding and both me and my friend got sick. The nurse came in to take my friend vitals and noticed that she was extremely dehydrated. She said that the staff would be bringing Gatorade. An hour and a half later, no Gatorade. After contacting the font desk and waiting another 30 minutes later (now 2 hours), I decided to go to the front desk. I waited at the front desk another 20 minutes and decided to ask where this Gatorade was coming from. Finally, after another 15 minutes (now almost a 3 hour wait), I am given the Gatorade. There was no apology or anything. The staff doesn't have a care in the world if you are waiting for service. You can be in line waiting while they are chit chatting among each other. This was my first experience at a Sandals property and it will be the last. The resort is in need of a renovation. I almost got killed in their elevator while walking in. There elevator does not have any sensors. therefore, when i tried to go in, I got caught between the doors and both my friend and I had to pry the door open with all the strength we had set me free. Unbelievable and dangerous!!! The elevator floor tiles are cracked and dirty. It is definitely not up to par to be considered a 4 and certainly not a 5 star. There are many other properties in Jamaica that are far better than this location. Please do your homework and research. We paid over $2800.00 for two people for 3 nights all inclusive and believe me, it is NOT WORTH IT!! Then again, it really depends on what you consider to be a 4 1/2 star property. Definitely a 3 star in my book and in the book of the people I traveled with!! Buyer beware!!!
