If I could give a zero I would. This place needs to be under investigation. The board of trustees,mayor, news etc.. needs to know about this hospital. The people they have working there are degrading. I never in my entire life had the experience I had at Orange Park hospital.I m not going to stop until my voice is heard and seeing more than 5 bad reviews on here I know I m not imagining things. Let s start with the communication,Which is horrible. Nurses they have working there are incompetent. Nurses and doctors do not know how to communicate with one another. No one could give us a straight answer(nurses).Teresa F (laboratory Assit) was extremely rude to my mother. Entered her room without introducing herself and didn t explain to her why she was taking blood. She also, Slapped a bandage on my mother after she retrieved blood. I was shocked. Debbie (case manager) was beyond rude, unprofessional, disrespectful. Coming into the room her body language was unprofessional. I asked her could she please write down information regarding my mother. I wanted her to write down the name of the infection she had. I wanted more information regarding it. She started talking to me like I was a Dog . When she left out the room she walked to the nurses desk. She was so loud we heard her all the way to our room. She was discussing with her co-workers about myself and Mother. Which was very unprofessional. I called my father to discuss what was going on. Debbie entered the room while I was on the phone and with a lot of sarcasm she rudely gave me the paperwork (rn Julissa was there to witness this) Debbie stated I don t want to be rude and interrupt you(sarcasm) At this point I had to get my mother out of this hospital and take her to a better hospital who have Better doctors, nurses and treat you like you are a human being. Caring and professional. She was here for a week. I felt harassed, my mother was in an environment that was unhealthy. We both felt like we were treated like trash. I was humiliated that a employee was telling her co-workers about I: fabricating what actually went down in the room (witness to clarify) I have my mother roommate and even other nurses stated that you are not the only one who complained how Debbie and this hospital treat people.This is very sad and disturbing that people have to go through an experience like we both went through. I would like to speak to everyone who had a bad experience with this hospital. Your voice needs to be heard. If anyone know the owner or board please send me their information. I m not stopping until this place and the world know how we were treated.
