Dr. Grosshandler and this office are a joke. He removed a lipoma from my mother's leg without explaining the change in procedure (he originally thought it was an ingrown hair) on December 12th. She had painful complications in the days following to which he said they will work themselves out. When she had her stitches removed the nurse felt "too inexperienced" to do it herself. The other nurse broke a needle in her leg while instilling the numbing medication. None of the nurses knew the procedure for fixing this problem. They removed the stitches anyway. At this point she had developed a large hematoma(bloody tumor) which is still there on Dec. 31st pushing out of the incision leaving her with an open wound. The office lied to us saying they made an appointment with another office to have it removed this morning. All they really did was make an appointment at another clinic, NOT with a surgeon. We are here for more than 2 hours already waiting for a surgeon to "fit us in" for a procedure we were told was already scheduled. We have been informed the procedure itself will take another 2 hours.

This office is not a competent medical center. Nurses there knew the doctor was making the wrong choices for my mother and failed to advocate for her.

As a nursing student I am appalled by their incompetence, and as a human I am appalled by their lack of caring.
