My bf was in pender for 8 days with the flu and was sent home. Within 24 hrs he couldn t breath so I carried him to your porters neck campus. They were outstanding there. The next morning he was admitted to the 6th floor where all the nurses aids doctors and respiratory care team were fabulous. Then he took a turn for the worse and they had to move him to the icu on the 7th floor. He was introduced to dr lee and his staff where they immediately started test. I had the flu pneumonia and was turning septic. My white blood cell count was 40000. Hands down from pender to porters neck. Then from porters neck to the main hospital everyone I encountered went over and beyond to get me well. I should be going home in a few days and god bless each and everyone of u.
