We had a wonderful vacation at Hamanasi. All of the great reviews we read ahead of time were true, particularly about the excellent customer service. It made a big difference to us the our guides were staff members of the resort. They were knowledgeable and provided individual attention as necessary. I say that because we did choose some challenging adventures, including the Mayflower hike and the cave exploration. Exciting trips, made a bit more difficult due to the heavy rains the night before.
The snorkeling was the best we'd ever experienced. We appreciated the fact that since there were 8 in our particular group, we had 2 guides so that we could split up.
The food was good, and since we don't eat meat we had plenty of fish and vegetarian options. Don't miss the chocolate lava cake.
We chose a beach front room and were very happy with it.
