Good breakfast Buffet, and hospitable breakfast area staff.
Extremely expensive for the service they provide (at arrival i was charged for the room without adding tax or changing of rates on the weekend, at check out i was surprised that i needed to pay an extra 40% of the total amount before i leave).
The pool is obnoxiously dirty we had no choice but to swim in the sea (people were smoking in the pool and you can stumble upon cigarette buds while swimming, people (mostly Arab origin guests) don t take showers taking off tanning oil or sweat before swimming, and other probable body fluids that might slip from underage persons since they were swimming in a separate section of the pool)
Bad smells and sound pollution (the location of the hotel is absurd, the surrounding public and private facilities make lots of noise loud local Arabic music till 4 a.m. and drilling at 8:00 a.m. and the first floor of the building we stayed at Ajloun smelled like sewage).
Location of room is unsatisfying (the view we got out of the stay was a service yard and rooftops of building with a partial view of the sea, mind you the bad design of the buildings which made loud echos that made us hear the nasty conversations from the adolescent tenants)
Overall design of the facility is in appropriate to be called a resort (the finishes are too low in standard and specification, plastered walls, cheap finishes, smelly elevators near the pools, minimal planting, terracotta floating deck absorbs heat and is impossible to walk on barefoot in addition to the slippery stainless steel ladders, building looks different than the original design intent and is very disappointing)
Furthermore, number of pools are too little for the number of users at one point, some people had trouble finding a place to sit rather than to swim, in addition to them being too narrow and small.
Inhospitable staff, some of the staff we dealt with are too dry and angry looking (except a number of staff like the one in the breakfast area and Mr. Hussein at the beach)
As a guest i didn t feel valued or truly welcomed at the venue
Overall experience was not satisfying and was definitely not a five star experience.
