The food was absolutely fantastic, but the service was extremely disappointing. In a fine dining restaurant in a small town, I'd expect that anyone in the industry would treat everyone with care. Dining there for the first time, I found the entire staff to shun myself and my boyfriend, who is Dominican, or connotatively, black. We were seated in a corner away from the 3 other tables with customers at them, no one spoke a word to us except to get our order and place it on the table, and when arriving the host walked away leaving us standing and waiting until someone just led us to a table without welcoming us at all. We are young professionals, successful, and appropriate, and my only guess is to classify this restaurant as tasteless and racist, which I honestly would love to have any other guess as to why we were treated so poorly. Watching the staff interact with the other tables only left us to feel isolated further. While I would love to continue to try the many delicious bites on their menu, I will never dine here again, nor will I ever recommend it.
