If health care expects us to pay these exorbitant ...

If health care expects us to pay these exorbitant prices then they must answer the phone! While I know this is common practice in health care this must stop. Half the time patients are calling because they do not believe, or even better, understand they are experiencing an emergency. Waiting on hold is unacceptable. Imagine how long a secretary, nurse, or doctor would wait for you if you told them you "are experiencing unusual call volume and their call would be answered in the order it was received." Why should we wait [this long] for them? Answer your phone!!!!
