I had an occasion to call the police to report a stolen TV and was very happy to see a response within 5 minutes-- two officers arrived at my home and spent several minutes going through the house to be sure the intruders were gone and then proceeded to take fingerprints and get a thorough report of what happened. The officers were extremely professional as they made sure I was safe and answered all of my questions before leaving. When I called back the next day to provide additional information the gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful and polite. I don't expect to see the TV again, but I am very happy with the response and service I received from the NPD.
