I have to boast about this company, their honesty and integrity and overall goodness. I had a BRCA gene test done as breast cancer runs in my family. The BRCA test is a very important one for early screening but many don't get it due to the cost. It costs close to 5K. My insurance originally said that they would cover it. Come to find out that my insurance co. gave me inaccurate info. and said that I was responsible for the bill after the test was completed. I got the bill close to Christmas and was dreading how to come up with the $. Miraculously, after I spoke with Myriad on the phone, they told me that I wouldn't be charged a dime. Somehow there was a miscommunication between Myriad and my insurance and Myriad covered the entire thing as my insurance would not. That to me is a company that cares more about people than profit!
