Go early to avoid the crowds. Well organized in getting visitors to the top of the arch. The visitors gallery at the base is rich with historical pieces, and construction/engineering displays. Also, reservations seem to be a "guide"; if they're not busy, you can often go up to the top earlier than your ticketed slot indicates.
