We had our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at McGovern Centennial gardens. We searched for a caterer that could help us with refreshments and hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour. After meeting with Lavada, they helped us put together a plan and menu that would best fit our needs. The tasting was at their beautiful office where we were spoiled by the chef with wine and our selected hors d oeuvres. We ended up ordering the Indian beef skewers, goat cheese palmiers, mini empanadas, meatless meatballs, and mini crab cakes. Everything was delicious! On the wedding day, they had servers walking around with food, water, and sparkling lemonade.
Jim Benton and his team clearly have experience catering large and upscale events. We were so glad they took on our small cocktail hour with so much attention to detail and made us feel so special on our wedding day!
Lavada was the sweetest! She had experience working with McGovern Centennial Gardens, so when my coordinator cancelled, she kindly sent me recommendations and helped in any way she could!
