It was a surprise dinner date....no need to struggle over where to go, he knew just the right place. This was my first time visiting Chef Rob's. It was pretty packed inside however the weather was GREAT so we opted for a cozy little quiet table for two outside. Our waitress (Tiffanii) was awesome...she recommended a seafood dip w/ pita that had me lickin' my fingers! He ordered whole red snapper & I choose a seafood pasta. The snapper tastes really good (yes I ate some) but he should have ordered the filet version....wayyyy too many bones; but hey, he did order "whole snapper". The seafood pasta was also good - wayyyy too much pasta for me to finish. Too stuffed for dessert, we enjoyed the atmosphere, each others company & watching all of the laughter thru the front windows. As the night went on, we noticed more & more people entering the "other" door - evidently, there's a bar/grill with dancing on the other side of the restaurant. They obviously have great acoustics as we only heard the music as they opened to enter. It did not disturb our quiet dinner for two outside at all. Overall, really nice place! We will return!
