I visited the club 2nd March 2020 as I had a transaction close by. I decided to have a light lunch at the cafe.. Friendly service at the register, then downhill from there. Unclean surfaces, used dishes not removed at many tables. I saw the cook warm the satay chicken wraps ...(nothing satay about them. Chicken cheese and tomato!! With '1' crumb of peanut!! )They sat on the shelf for 5minutes...no coffee being made for me. The ' blonde ponytailed barista' was catching up with a male friend over the counter.
I had to walk to the counter and point it out to the cook. Who was reluctant to say anything to hurry my coffee, which didnt come as ordered...extra hot...it was luke warm when I finally got it.
I stayed at the counter till I got my order...no apology. My roll was cold & the coffee luke warm. What a shame, I have had better service before and the food acceptable. I dont think anyone is in charge there, or the attention would be on customers and tasty food. I live at The Entrance and there are many other worthwhile spots to stop rather than Gosford RSL cafe. Dont bother. Prepared food is expensive but a waste of money if it doesnt even fit the description and delivered with poor service.
