I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini-village ...

I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini-village of cafes and shops on arrival in the grounds beside the car park.

We spent two hours walking the grounds. I recommend wearing wellies in the Autumn as many sign-posted walks were quite muddy.

It s dog friendly and parking was more than ample, but we did turn up early on a Sunday.

We will visit again :)
