The hotel check-in was smooth after waiting for 10 hours plus for flight that ends up being delayed 15 hours. The LATAM airline provided a voucher with breakfast. The check-in staff didn t explain any details about the conditions (perhaps they were tired too because it was close to 1 am). The room was spotless, clean and spacious.
The buffet breakfast at the Brasserie was nice but the waiter was pretty agressive and borderline rude. When I tried to sit on the patio, he was dismissive. Since then, I noticed that he was trying to make guests take the buffet option instead of a la carte (citing the slow service without saying how slow).
The manager Mike needs to commended, however. He went out of his way to help guest s needs when the above-mentioned waiter said with a threatening tone that there was no breakfast included in the voucher (when there was in fact some values). The scary and uneasy feeling left by the waiter was relieved thanks to the manager. Thank you Mike!
