The staff were really unhelpful and unaccomodating and quite rude. I went with my girlfriend and her friends for a sunday lunch and frankly had a seriously sub par experience. We had booked 2 tables and had asked to be seated outside. Neither of these were outside. When we arrived we asked if it was possible for the tables to be next to each other so we could at least interact and the man who I assume was the manager was rude and flatly denied to even help despite the fact the table next to us was empty for almost the entirety of our meal. One of our group has a nut allergy and he was also rude and unhelpful about this. On top of all of this the food was frankly average. The lamb was medium well at best and I suspect the potatoes were deep fried (they were very very oily and not crispy at all). When we asked for some plates for the birthday cake they simply never came back to tell us this wasn't possible. When we ordered we assumed that we would be running a tab since we had booked a table to eat. Instead they made us pay the minute they arrived with our drinks and weren't even friendly about this.

Overall would not reccomend this pub, they dont even have many beers on tap besides the basics. The service was some of the worst I've experienced in a long time (and I have worked in the hospitality industry for 5 years at this point).

Service: 2/5
Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Drinks selection: 3/5
