We have been dealing with CWS for 11 months on getting a correct SCREEN in sound condition for one of our brand new custom windows. I cannot even begin to explain how many times we've been up to Lowe's to pick up the new screen just for it to be the wrong color, completely wrong size, and/ or for it to be damaged. With getting the same result a number of times, I got in touch with Pella. I have been dealing with them since June. Reps have been coming out and its been the wrong size or damaged. Each time we have to be rescheduled, and it's always a month or more out before they come back with a messed up screen. Now I'm dealing with CWS and been given the run around. Then told how they can't schedule out until November 8th, because that's how their calendar is routed and no one will be in my area. Also, how their production time is 6-8 weeks. We're talking about a simple screen... what, 6 pieces of material. Some no brainer stuff. They lack precise measurements, quality control, oversight of management, and safe packaging. We built a 600+ sq ft block addition within this time and STILL NO SCREEN. A lot more complicated things have been completed in a year's time, but no one can get a dang screen done right. Here we are about to approach an entire year still dealing with this stupid nonsense. Clearly, they lack pride in their work and getting the job done right within a reasonable time. So glad we decided to wait on getting the rest of the windows replaced for our house. We will absolutely not be going through CWS. And based on the reviews, this seems to be their new MO. Beware if you use them. Nothing but a massive headache to deal with. We'll never use them again or recommend them. If we can spare anyone the headache, we will share our experience.
