I rented scaffolding and after getting it home, set it up (40' in the air) realized we were missing pins to hold pieces together as well as we had half as many cross supports as were required.
Returned it and got a full refund but talked to the manager to inform him of the safety issue. I was told "...we'll check it out before renting it back out." Well, as soon as I off loaded it, it went right back on the rental shelf. DO NOT RENT!!!!!!
Side note, while I applaud them for hiring teens and offering employment, their employees should be respectful of people's property. Specifically, while loading the scaffolding I was the lucky recipient of a beautiful scratch/dent in my brand new pickup.
